	FOREIGN PUBLICATIONS DISTRIBUTION AND MARKETING

Being one of the Doğan Media Group companies, Dogan Burda imports and markets foreign publications. In 1986, the company has begun its operations of import and distribution of foreign publications with Germany's Bild and England's Newsweek magazines. Dogan Burda has been continuously expanding its operations by including other leading newspapers and magazines published in Europe. Furthermore, Dogan Burda has also managed to enter the British market through collaboration with Higgs International and Focus Media International Group of England in 2003.

Recently, the company has increased the number of foreign publications in its portfolio to 507 and the total number of foreign publications distributed in the year 2006 to 4.2 Million. Consequently, Dogan Burda now holds 52 percent market share in Turkish foreign publications market.

Additionally, aside from importing and distributing foreign publications, the company has begun exporting monthly magazines in Turkish to Greece in 1992. Dogan Burda, used to publish these magazines for Hellenic Agency of Greece. Aspires to export and introduce publications in Turkish across Europe and even all around the world, Dogan Burda continues its efforts to accomplish its goal. Having been importing select publications from the world's largest distributors and publishing houses, in 1992, Dogan Burda has become a member of World Publishers and Distributors Association, DISTRIPRESS, and assured its well-deserved position in the international arena.
